What is a Viking?
Viking has built boats in New Gretna, New Jersey since brothers Bill and Bob Healey started the yard in 1964. It makes almost everything in house, from hulls to furniture, and its enclosed and open bridge convertibles from 12 to 30 metres are the reference boat for serious offshore game fishing.
A Viking is a fishing boat first: a big open cockpit with a fighting chair, a tower or skybridge for spotting fish, and the speed to reach the grounds early and get home before dark. Below decks they live like motor yachts, so a mixed group of anglers and non-anglers is comfortable for a day or a week.
